For a Lesser Truck, This Might Be a Problem

Especially because I’m towing. Not being able to kick the truck out of overdrive could be an issue...but I’ve got 705 torques that say “meh, who cares?”

Kinja'd!!!

I’m legitimately impressed. I’ve never towed with this truck before, but the difference between a 2000 F150 with a 5.4 and a 2001 F250 with a 7.3 Powerstroke is literally night and day. I always felt the trailer when towing with the 150, even when unladen. Right now I may as well not even have a trailer on it.

Barracuda pictures coming soon, after I pick it up in two hours!

Didn’t your momma warn you that if you kept stroking the tip might fall off?

Good luck with the Cuda

Why didn’t they put that control on the dash next to the transfer case switch? They didn’t ask me, of course...

I once had a windsheild stalk break of while snow”drifting” my 91 Civic. You had to flick the little windsheild clitorus wiht your middle finger, but it worked. I got so used to it that when some one drives the car now I forget to tell the, it’s broken, and they’re going to need it since that car only runs off-road now.

I always am impressed with how my 4Runner does with just 218 torques. Even with 1500 pounds on the trailer it still pulled decently.

I never realized how much torque these trucks made until I got one an F350 as a work truck and looked up the specs and was like damn. That new 6.7 makes 800 ft/lbs, prefect for lease road drifting.

They're nuts. Mine makes 505 stock but has a performance ECU flash, good for an extra 100hp and 200 ft lbs. I towed that Uhaul trailer with the car on it and the engine/tranny in the bed...45mph, uphill, accelerating in overdrive. Also I got 20mpg for the trip there and 80 miles of mostly idling in New York traffic on the way back. Awesome truck.

Literally anything but making it part of the thing you yank on every time you start or shut off the vehicle.
